The Intensive Community Program

Audrey L. White, Founder 1994

Statement of Purpose:
The Intensive Community Program was created to provide string ensemble training and support for inner city youth. The ICP provided individual lessons, music theory classes, small sectional rehearsals and periodic evaluations for students. Through the program students gained the background necessary to graduate to the more advanced orchestras. It also prepared students for entrance into advanced training programs such as the Boston Symphony Orchestra's Project S.T.E.P. Below is the brochure used for the program.  More information about ICP , click here.
